Texas is the first market The Juice Index covers outside the Pacific Northwest and Mountain West launch region. Coverage starts with Austin, where we have a real station count and a city guide. The rest of the state — Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio, the corridors connecting them — isn’t built yet.
That’s worth saying plainly rather than padding this page with placeholder content. Texas has 12,238 charging ports across 3,729 stations according to the NREL Alternative Fuels Data Center, more DC fast charging than any state in our original seven-state region except Colorado. It’s a serious EV market. We’re starting with one city and will expand corridor and city coverage as we do for the rest of the directory: real data first, editorial second, no page published before there’s something genuinely useful on it.
If you’re looking for Austin charging information, see the Austin city guide. For everything else in Texas, check back — this state hub will grow as we do.
