Atlanta has 754 public charging stations as of mid-2026 — the densest charging footprint of any city in The Juice Index’s national expansion batch, and a real signal of how fast the metro’s EV infrastructure has grown alongside the Southeast’s broader EV manufacturing buildout.
Midtown and Buckhead
Midtown and Buckhead carry the city’s heaviest charging density, mostly ChargePoint Level 2 in office and retail garages — 533 ChargePoint stations citywide, more than any other network by a wide margin. The Lenox Road Tesla Supercharger (16 stalls) in Buckhead and the Peachtree Road site cover DC fast charging for the city’s commercial core.
Old Fourth Ward and Inman Park
The Krog Street Tesla Supercharger sits right at the edge of Inman Park and the Old Fourth Ward, walking distance from the Krog Street Market food hall — genuinely one of the better places in the metro to charge and actually do something with the time. The Caroline Street Northeast Supercharger (20 stalls) nearby adds capacity for this fast-growing part of the city.
West Midtown and Decatur
West Midtown’s industrial-turned-retail district has a growing ChargePoint and Blink presence tied to its restaurant and brewery boom. Decatur, east of downtown, has its own smaller but reliable Level 2 cluster around the square.
The Big One
The original “Atlanta, GA - Tesla Supercharger” site, 30 stalls, is the largest single fast-charging location in the metro and one of the largest Supercharger sites covered anywhere in The Juice Index. It functions as the default answer for DC fast charging in Atlanta when a more specific neighborhood option isn’t closer.
Planning Notes
Atlanta’s charging works well for residents with home, workplace, or garage access — Level 2 density is genuinely strong. For visitors or DC-fast-only charging, the Tesla Supercharger network is currently the most evenly distributed option across the metro’s geographically sprawling footprint.
