EVgo is the cheapest major DC fast-charging network, at $0.28–$0.32/kWh standard — 30–40% below Tesla and Electrify America’s walk-up rates. Its EVgo+ membership ($6.99/mo) pushes rates lower still. For Level 2 charging, ChargePoint is often cheapest in absolute terms because its host-set pricing is frequently $0.15–$0.25/kWh — and sometimes free.

The caveats that change the answer
Membership reshuffles the ranking. EA with Pass+ ($0.36) beats Tesla without one. EVgo with EVgo+ beats everything. If you charge on one network more than twice a month, its membership is almost certainly worth it.
Host-set pricing is a lottery. ChargePoint and Blink let site hosts set prices. The same network is $0.15/kWh at a library and $0.60/kWh at an airport garage. Check the app per site, not per network.
Cheap kWh at a broken charger costs the most. EVgo’s measured uptime (95.4%) and Blink’s (91.2%) trail Tesla’s 99.3%. A failed session that strands you at the second-nearest charger erases months of per-kWh savings. Price and reliability per network sit side-by-side in the table for exactly this reason.
Nothing public beats home. Home Level 2 runs $0.10–$0.17/kWh in most of our coverage area — half the price of the cheapest public network. If the question behind your question is whether daily public charging is sustainable, that math is its own answer.
